Company Overview
Our client is a well-established Facilities Management organization with over five decades of experience in the industry.


Position Overview
Due to a recent contract acquisition, they are seeking a Mechanical and Electrical Technician to oversee site operations.


Key Responsibilities
As a Mechanical and Electrical Technician, your duties will include:
- Conducting routine checks and maintenance of plant rooms
- Performing basic troubleshooting on air conditioning, heating, and electrical systems
- Engaging with clients to ensure satisfaction
- Inspecting and maintaining alarm systems and panels
- Upholding general health and safety standards.


Compensation and Benefits
The Mechanical and Electrical Technician position offers:
- A competitive salary of approximately £40,000, depending on experience
- Flexible working hours from Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 18:00
- A standard 40-hour work week
- Overtime compensation at 1.5x/2x
- Occasional weekend shifts
- Pension scheme.


Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- An NVQ in a relevant trade
- Gas safety certification (preferred)
- 18th Edition qualification (preferred)
- Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check
- A foundational understanding of Mechanical and Electrical systems.
