We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Service Technician to join our esteemed Toyota dealership. This role is essential in maintaining our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Our compensation packages are competitive and reflect the skills and experience of each candidate.
Base salaries range from: £30,000 - £43,000
Potential bonuses / OTE range from £38,000 - £50,000
Our state-of-the-art facilities provide a professional atmosphere for our team while ensuring exceptional service delivery to our clients. We are dedicated to your professional growth, offering continuous training to help you advance as a Toyota Qualified Service Technician or Master Technician.
Key Responsibilities
Perform servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on all vehicles in the workshop, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards on the first attempt. Responsibilities include both electrical and mechanical repairs, covering areas such as suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhaust systems, and air conditioning maintenance. Additional duties may involve servicing and repairing EV and Hybrid vehicles, utilizing electronic diagnostic tools, with a focus on components like batteries, drive motors, auxiliary drive packs, and control systems. Capable of installing manufacturer accessories and audio systems. Understand the importance of Customer Satisfaction and its influence on business success. Trained to operate advanced systems, including video reporting tools. Complete all service documentation to meet manufacturer and brand standards. Collaborate closely with workshop team members to enhance skills and share knowledge.Candidate Profile
We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds with experience in the Automotive industry as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Motor Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, HGV Fitter, Auto Electrician, MOT Tester, or Apprentice Vehicle Technician. Experience in independent garages, fast fit centers, car supermarkets, or main dealerships is valued. A minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is required. An Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification is a plus but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided. An MOT License is advantageous but not essential. A valid UK Driving license is necessary. Candidates should demonstrate strong mechanical and electrical knowledge and a commitment to high-quality work; we provide the training and resources to support your career advancement.Benefits
