Job Title: Environments Manager

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Environments Manager to join our UK-based team. As an Environments Manager, you will be responsible for managing and scheduling all solution environments, ensuring consistency across all environments, and leading on all environment management aspects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and schedule all solution environments, including Development, Test, Staging, Pre-Prod, and Production
  • Maintain consistency across all environments, with any variations clearly documented
  • Lead on all environment management aspects, including developing standard ways of working and providing technical expertise to Leidos programme teams
  • Maintain version control of all components, including server and workstation configurations
  • Conduct technical checks of applications to ensure environment stability after every deployment
  • Automate deployment activities to reduce the risk of errors
  • Identify and document all application dependencies and ensure interfaces are either replicated or stubs are provided
  • Track changes to the environments and utilize a robust dedicated change management process
Requirements:
  • Experience of managing sizeable application support contracts
  • Experience working with teams across the SDLC, including Development, Test, and Operations
  • Experience working within an ITIL-based framework, with experience of Environment Management, Change Management, and Release Management
  • Experience managing and monitoring services against agreed SLAs/KPIs
  • Experience in reporting and analyzing data to identify trends
  • Experience of asset and configuration management
  • Experience of availability and capacity management
  • Knowledge of Atlassian toolchains and ServiceNow
  • Experience with log analytical systems
  • Experience of working with Agile and Scaled Agile deliveries
