Orthopaedic Surgeon

NHS Scotland is seeking to recruit two experienced Orthopaedic Surgeons to join the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in Raigmore Hospital, Inverness. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team and contribute to the provision of high-quality orthopaedic services to the local community.

The successful applicants will participate in an on-call rota for trauma and provide elective services in primary lower limb arthroplasty. They will also have the opportunity to work in the National Treatment Centre Highland, which caters for a large proportion of primary lower limb arthroplasty and other orthopaedic elective services.

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery comprises 19 Consultants, and the successful applicants will be part of a team that is committed to delivering excellent patient care. The department has a strong focus on education and training, with regular attachments of Medical Students from Aberdeen University.
