As an HVAC Detail Designer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of innovative HVAC solutions for our clients. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Creating and modifying HVAC routed systems and Bill of Materials (BOMs) with precision and accuracy.
  • Generating clear 2D outputs from 3D Models, ensuring seamless integration with other design elements.
  • Collaborating effectively with HVAC System Designers and other design teams to ensure project success.
  • Interpreting schematic diagrams and utilizing equipment catalogues to select the most suitable components for each project.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience in HVAC detail design, demonstrating a strong understanding of industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in Foran and Windchill software, essential for efficient design and documentation.
  • Experience with HVAC outputs and equipment selection, ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, facilitating clear communication and data management.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of shipbuilding processes and BOMs, enhancing your understanding of the broader project context.
  • Previous experience with HVAC systems, providing valuable insights into system design and operation.
