About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our Perinatal Mental Health Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist assessment, support, and treatment for women and their families in the perinatal period.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental state examinations and assess risk
  • Provide specialist consultation, training, and advice to mental health, maternity, and primary health services
  • Work collaboratively with a range of services to support women and their families with mental health issues
Requirements
  • Professional health or social care qualification
  • Demonstrable post-qualification experience in mental health or a related area
  • Extensive experience of first-line assessments, including the assessment of risk
