Capital Actuarial Specialists

We are seeking two experienced Capital Actuarial specialists to enhance our dynamic Capital team. In this position, you will be instrumental in the integration of NHBC's Economic Capital Model, delivering critical insights that inform strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and refine capital modelling capabilities
  • Participate in the development and calibration of the Economic Model
  • Evaluate capital requirements and their implications for business strategies
  • Generate projections for capital requirements to support business planning
  • Collaborate with colleagues to advance financial risk and capital management practices

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in calculating regulatory and economic capital requirements
  • Technical proficiency in capital model design and effective communication of capital metrics
  • Solid understanding of actuarial methodologies and the insurance market landscape
  • Familiarity with capital modelling software
  • Actuarial qualification or relevant academic background
