Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Capital Actuary to join our team at HFG Insurance Recruitment. As a key member of our actuarial team, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their business objectives.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Nearly/Newly Qualified Capital Actuary to take ownership of the role and grow alongside our business. You will work closely with our Head of Capital and other senior management to drive business growth and success.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with senior management across Actuarial, Finance, and Underwriting teams to drive business growth and success.
  • Develop and maintain complex capital models, including parameterisation and outwards reinsurance purchasing.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and drive business growth through data-driven insights.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the team, with opportunities for career advancement.
  • Support the reserving and pricing teams, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
