Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Finance Systems Manager to join our team at Travelex. As a key member of our Finance Transformation programme, you will be responsible for the administration, management, and configuration of our Oracle Fusion ERP system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oracle Fusion ERP Management: Manage the Oracle Fusion ERP solution and associated Finance Systems team, including on-shore and off-shore working with our Finance Systems Support team in our Shared Service Centre.
  • Process Improvement: Identify, recommend, and implement Oracle Fusion ERP process improvements to enhance our financial operations.
  • Best Practices: Ensure best practices related to Oracle Fusion are established and maintained, including necessary business rules.
  • Data Integration: Assist divisional users with data integration maintenance and enhancements.
  • Metadata Management: Maintain metadata, variables, workflows, process management, and rules within Oracle Fusion as business requirements change.
  • Security and Monitoring: Conduct setup and provide support for end-user security, on-going monitoring of the platform, including integration and liaison.
  • Month-End and Year-End Tasks: Provide support for month-end, quarterly, and year-end tasks.
  • User Acceptance Testing: Provide support during and after User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including training new users, creating training materials, and facilitating training sessions.
  • Auditor Liaison: Liaise with internal and external auditors to provide financial information requirements.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot Oracle ERP system issues.
  • Upgrade Support: Review Oracle upgrades and support in the testing and integration process.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Documentation: Create documentation for standard work processes.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Finance Transformation Team, agreeing pre-ERP and transitional system-related activities.
Requirements
  • Relevant Qualifications: Relevant tertiary level or professional qualifications.
  • Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud Experience: Must have Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud experience.
  • Finance Systems Management: Significant hands-on experience of working as a Finance Systems Manager in a large-scale Finance IT systems environment.
  • Core Finance Processes: Good understanding of core finance processes and accountancy principles, acquired by working within a large Finance or IT Department.
  • Vendor Management: Considerable experience of managing and fostering relationships with vendors.
  • ERP Migration: Supported in a Finance systems role experience of ERP migration to Oracle Fusion, ideally with a sound knowledge of links to EPM, including FCCS and PBCS.
