Position Overview:

A Sales Support Specialist is needed to provide exceptional service and technical expertise for a leading engineering manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer technical guidance on the selection of compressed air systems and related mechanical engineering products based on customer requirements.
  • Generate and present quotations and proposals for various engineering products.
  • Deliver comprehensive technical support to Sales Engineers and manage customer service tasks, including order processing and documentation.
  • Engage in administrative duties such as invoicing and verifying order confirmations.
  • Provide product specifications and after-sales support.
  • Collaborate with different engineering departments to ensure customer satisfaction.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong determination and enthusiasm to excel within a reputable organization. Experience in sales, customer service, or a technical background related to engineering is essential. While comprehensive training will be provided, prior experience in selling engineering products or working in an engineering environment is advantageous.

Individuals transitioning from hands-on engineering roles to technical sales are encouraged to consider this opportunity. Candidates with experience as an Internal Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Support Engineer, Engineering Administrator, or similar roles in customer service within the engineering sector will find this position particularly suitable.

Qualifications:

  • A technical understanding of mechanical or industrial engineering products is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Apprentice training, HNC, HND, or a degree in engineering is preferred.
  • Must be able to commute to the office regularly.
