Internal Sales Executive / Sales Support Engineer / Technical Sales Advisor Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Internal Sales Executive / Sales Support Engineer / Technical Sales Advisor to join our team at Verto People. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing technical advice and guidance to customers on compressed air systems and associated mechanical engineering products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical advice and guidance on correct compressed air related product selection as per customers' needs.
  • Generate and provide quotations and proposals of compressed air systems and associated mechanical engineering products to customers.
  • Provide technical support and cover to other Sales Engineers and all aspects of Customer services - e.g. order processing, expediting, documentation etc.
  • Learn all aspects of administration which includes order processing, invoicing, checking order confirmations.
  • Product specification plus after sales and service support.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.

Requirements:

  • Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable company.
  • Experience in any sales, customer service or technical background associated with engineering.
  • Full training is being provided, however having previously sold an engineering product, spare parts or a background working in an engineering environment is beneficial.
  • Compressor Service Engineer looking to come off the tools and move into a technical sales role are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience as an Internal Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Support Engineer, Engineering Administrator, Contracts Engineer, Proposals Engineer, Sales Executive, Technical Sales Advisor, or similar customer service position, ideally within engineering.
  • Technical aptitude and/or understanding of engineering equipment - mechanical or industrial engineering products is advantageous but not essential.
  • Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree in engineering would be beneficial.
