Residential Care Officer


We are seeking a dedicated Residential Care Officer to become a part of our compassionate and skilled team within a Children's Residential Home.

This facility focuses on providing support to children with disabilities, making prior experience in this area highly desirable.

Position Details:

  • Full-time
  • Permanent
Salary: £25,969 - £28,665

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your expertise and abilities, further enhanced through our training and support, to assist in the care of our children and young individuals.
  • Engage in therapeutic practices adopted by our homes, enabling you to evolve into a specialized care provider. Training will also encompass reflective practices to continually enhance our caregiving approach.
  • Foster positive relationships with the children, ensuring their needs are met and their safety is prioritized at all times.
  • Develop structured timetables, establishing boundaries and expectations for the young people. Consistency and organizational skills are essential.
  • Interact with a diverse group of children and young individuals, some of whom may need significant levels of supervision and support.
Essential Requirements:

  • Candidates must be at least 22 years old in accordance with children's home regulations.
  • A valid UK driving license is required.
  • While experience working with children and young individuals with disabilities is preferred, candidates with any relevant experience in childcare will also be considered.
