Senior Social Worker

We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Safeguarding and Family Support Service. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in keeping children and young people safe from harm.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to urgent child protection referrals and gather information to assess and prioritise decisions.
- Carry out assessments on children and young people who have been sexually abused or use sexually abusive behaviour.
- Work to secure permanency within the family, either in the community or through court processes.
- Provide leadership and support to colleagues to maximise the potential of others and implement service improvements.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Social Work England registered social worker qualification or equivalent.
- At least four years' experience in children's social services, including direct management experience.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to implement service improvements.
