Role Summary: As the Chief Product Officer (CPO) at Mor Search, you will be pivotal in steering our shift from hardware to software, concentrating on crafting the premier Fleet EV Charging software available. You will oversee the complete product lifecycle, from conception to implementation, ensuring our software offerings adapt to the changing demands of our clientele and maintain our competitive edge in the market. Core Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Product Leadership: Formulate and implement a robust product strategy that establishes Mor Search as the frontrunner in Fleet EV Charging software. Align product objectives with corporate goals and market dynamics to foster growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Direct the comprehensive product development journey, from initial idea to market launch. Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including engineering, design, and data analytics, to develop innovative software solutions that provide outstanding user experiences.
  • Market Analysis & Insights: Perform thorough market analysis to grasp customer requirements, industry developments, and competitive positioning. Leverage data-driven insights to guide product choices and prioritize features that deliver maximum value to our users.
  • Customer Engagement: Champion the customer perspective throughout the product development cycle. Interact with fleet operators and other key stakeholders to collect feedback, validate product ideas, and ensure our software solutions tackle real-world challenges.
  • Team Development: Cultivate and mentor a high-performing product team, promoting a culture of creativity, teamwork, and ongoing enhancement. Provide clear guidance and support to team members, empowering them to achieve exceptional outcomes.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Partner with executive leadership to articulate product vision, strategy, and progress. Work alongside sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure successful product rollouts and sustained customer engagement.
  • Agile Practices: Advocate for agile methodologies to facilitate rapid iteration, continuous delivery, and adaptability to evolving market conditions. Implement best practices in product management, including roadmapping, backlog prioritization, and performance tracking.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Over 10 years in product management, with a proven history of leading software product development, preferably in the EV, IoT, or fleet management sectors. Experience in transitioning from hardware to software is highly advantageous.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, with experience in scaling product organizations. Strong strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of software development processes, cloud technologies, data analytics, and user experience design. Familiarity with EV charging infrastructure and fleet management is highly desirable.
  • Customer Orientation: A strong passion for understanding customer needs and delivering products that surpass expectations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to forge strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Innovative Mindset: A forward-looking perspective with a commitment to driving innovation in sustainable transportation. Ability to foresee market changes and identify emerging opportunities.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
