Standard working hours are 48 hours per week, primarily during night shifts, with additional overtime opportunities available.
Who is Chevron Traffic Management?
Chevron Traffic Management specializes in establishing temporary road or lane closures, diversion routes, and pedestrian pathways to ensure the safety of road workers and users during roadworks. This includes deploying road cones, signage, temporary traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, and barriers. Our work is visible throughout the country. Responsibilities of a 12ab IPV Traffic Management Foreman:
- Operating an IPV.
- Installing, maintaining, and dismantling temporary traffic management setups, including cones, signs, frames, sandbags, and other equipment.
- Conducting traffic counts, communicating with clients and subcontractors, and managing timings and near misses.
- Assisting and mentoring new trainees.
What makes an ideal 12ab IPV Traffic Management Foreman:
- Valid IPV License.
- 12ab Traffic Management Foreman Qualification.
- Qualified 12ab Lantra.
- Familiarity with Chapter 8 regulations.
- Full driving license with no more than 6 points; any driving bans must have expired for at least 5 years.
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test; employment offers will be contingent on the results.
- A positive, proactive attitude.
