About the Opportunity

G8 Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Centre Manager to join our team at Roscoe Avenue Children's Centre in Hamilton. As a key member of our centre, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining an outstanding learning environment for our children.

About the Role

  • Lead and manage a team of early childhood professionals to deliver high-quality education and care to children aged 0-5 years.
  • Develop and implement programs based on the Early Years Learning Framework curriculum, including a specialized Kindergarten program.
  • Collaborate with the centre's leadership team to achieve centre goals and objectives.
  • Ensure the centre's compliance with the National Quality Standards and ACECQA regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to families and stakeholders.

About You

  • You will hold an ACECQA-approved Diploma in Children's Services or a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood).
  • You will have a strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
  • You will have proven experience as an educator in an early childhood service, working with children aged 0-5 years.
  • You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You will hold a current Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate.
