About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Team Manager to join our team at our newest operational Customer Fulfilment Centre in Erith, Kent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Engineers, Technicians, and Maintenance Technicians, driving their success by assessing their capabilities, identifying development opportunities, and motivating them on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Engineers, Technicians, and Maintenance Technicians
  • Assess team members' capabilities and identify development opportunities
  • Motivate team members on a daily basis
  • Allocate workload and address disciplinary issues
  • Drive pace, accuracy, and standards across all aspects of the CFC

About You

We are looking for a passionate leader who is looking to take the next step in growing their career. You will have experience in leading a team of Engineers within an automated FMCG environment, as well as being comfortable making critical decisions in a fast-paced role. Your technical ability relating to automation hardware and software will be second to none.

Requirements

  • Experience in leading a team of Engineers within an automated FMCG environment
  • Comfortable making critical decisions in a fast-paced role
  • Technical ability relating to automation hardware and software
  • Comprehensive understanding of production, picking, and storage MHE systems
  • Computer literacy and experience working with computerised maintenance management systems
