Role Overview

The objective of this position is to oversee and effectively execute multiple significant projects that are integral to the broader Churchill Estates Management (CEM) Enhancement Strategy. This role supports the Managing Director's vision to refine CEM's operational processes.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you will collaborate with the Head of Commercial to develop new revenue streams for the organization.

Success in this role is defined by the successful completion of projects adhering to budget, quality, timeline, and scope specifications, alongside full endorsement from affected business units and a seamless transition into regular operations.

Projects will be managed utilizing established project management methodologies, with an emphasis on thorough planning, reporting, budget oversight, and risk/issue management throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Relationships

Essential relationships for this role include:

CEM Managing Director as the primary advocate for the Enhancement StrategyKey business stakeholders (Directors and Heads of departments)Group ICT Team (as stakeholders and primary delivery partners)Training AcademyPrincipal suppliers

Main Responsibilities

Identification and evaluation of projectsProject planning and scope determinationDefinition of deliverables, tasks, and sequencing (dependency management)Project scheduling (including estimation)Execution and oversight of projectsProject handover and closureIdentifying, securing, and managing project resourcesMonitoring and reporting on progress

Work Conditions

The primary location for all projects will be the Churchill Estates Management (CEM) Head Office in Ringwood, Hampshire. However, occasional travel to Lodges or to key suppliers may be required. All travel will be within the UK.

Standard working hours are from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Thursday, and 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Friday, with a one-hour lunch break each day. The Project Manager is expected to exhibit flexibility in alignment with the responsibilities of the role, which may involve working additional hours during critical periods.
