Clinical Neuropsychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practitioner Psychologist to join our Stroke Team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing specialist psychological services to stroke patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist psychological assessments, treatment planning, and interventions to stroke patients, including those with complex psychological needs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of psychological services within the stroke team, including the design and delivery of training programs for staff.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways for stroke patients, including those requiring rehabilitation and support.
- Supervise and mentor junior psychologists and other members of the psychological workforce.
- Contribute to the development and evaluation of psychological interventions and services, including the use of evidence-based practices and outcome measures.
- Postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology.
- Registration as an Applied Psychology Practitioner member of the HCPC.
- Experience of working within a stroke services multidisciplinary team context, providing specialist psychological assessment and treatment to clients with complex psychological needs.
- Experience of supervising assistant psychologists and/or other members of the psychological workforce.
- Knowledge of legislation in relation to the client group, mental health issues, safeguarding, and discrimination.
