About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our dynamic team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Clinical Neuropsychologist, you will play a key role in providing specialist psychological services to stroke patients, including assessment, treatment planning, and monitoring of outcomes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions for stroke patients, including cognitive and behavioral assessments.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address the psychological needs of stroke patients, including cognitive rehabilitation and behavioral interventions.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service evaluation, audit, and research projects.
  • Provide clinical supervision and training to junior staff members.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care for stroke patients.

Requirements

  • Postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology or its equivalent.
  • Registration as an Applied Psychology Practitioner member of the HCPC.
  • Experience of working with stroke patients and their families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
