Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Lead Nurse for Advancing Roles and NMAHP Non-Medical Prescribing on designated workstreams and projects.
- Provide specialized support and guidance to services for registered and non-registered practitioners within Primary Care and Community Services, as part of the advancing nursing roles agenda.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of education and development sessions relevant to the role, including professional prescribing and advanced practice issues.
- Support the quality agenda for prescribing by planning and leading on a programme of assurance, audit, and analysis of prescribing data, working closely with clinical services to inform and plan programmes of improvement work for NMAHP prescribers.
- PVG Scheme membership/record.
- Ability to work with a range of stakeholders, including clinical services and education providers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and inform improvement work.
NHS Scotland is committed to reducing its full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024, with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part-time staff. You may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
