Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join our team in Rugby, UK. As a key member of our C&I team, you will play a crucial role in providing technical advice and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance and support to the C&I team, focusing on diesel products.
  • Take a lead role in supporting key customers with design and customized solutions.
  • Liaise with the factory to provide customers with product information, design specification changes, and delivery updates.
  • Deliver professional technical responses to clients.
  • Support pre-sales activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Create quotations for standard diesel products.
  • Develop technical quotations for customized diesel products (Power Engineering Customized Solutions).
  • Maintain accurate records of issues, details, actions, and responsibilities to support successful commercial resolutions and client relationships.
  • Estimate costs and work closely with the sales team to develop inquiries and consolidate them into agreed quotations.
  • Ensure that the most suitable and relevant solutions for each offer are discussed with various departments.
  • Develop business proposals in a professional manner, adhering to company standards.
  • Support the bid process and management.
  • Analyze technical datasheets, drawings, and extract information effectively.
  • Support clients with site visits as needed.
  • Report and update the Sales Director on existing and developed business applications.
  • Ensure that Salesforce CRM is populated with accurate information.
  • Occasionally, provide technical advice and support to the C&I Gas and BESS product lines.

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of the Office package.
  • Excellent knowledge of English.
  • High technical knowledge of the product.
  • Good knowledge of project management principles.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Availability to travel.
