Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Concierge and Luggage Porter to join our Front Office team on a Fixed Term Contract of 3 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for running an efficient Concierge and Car Park areas over night, managing guest requests during the day, and ensuring a pleasant and warm experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests on arrival in a professional, friendly, and efficient way, making them instantly feel at ease while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Maintain awareness of all sales opportunities within the hotel to maximize revenue and pay special attention to monitoring for fraud, theft, and potential security risks.
  • Provide valet parking services, maintain and organize the cars parked in the Car Park, and move cars as necessary.
  • Store luggage for guests and provide them with the necessary documentation to collect their belongings later.
  • Deal with early departures and late check-ins as applicable.
  • Ensure that all tasks relating to guest comfort, guest satisfaction, or impression of the hotel are treated with utmost priority.
  • Conduct regular floor checks using the Guard Watch.

Requirements:

  • Night and Day Shifts flexibility required (this role covers both day shifts and night shifts on a rota basis).
  • Full valid clean UK Driving License (must be able to drive both manual and automatic vehicles).
  • Previous customer-facing experience in a similar environment.
  • Smart, professional appearance.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including telephone manner.
  • Good level of Spoken and written English.
  • Hospitality qualification, for example BTEC or NVQ diploma (desirable).
