Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning and Development Specialist to join our team at Bupa Care Homes. As an Area Trainer, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality training programs that support the development of our employees and enhance the delivery of care services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our employees and care homes, including new starter inductions, mandatory training, technical and soft skills training.
  • Use a range of training methods to engage and motivate employees, including face-to-face and virtual training sessions.
  • Provide one-to-one support, coaching, and assessment of staff to facilitate successful completion of inductions and training requirements.
  • Analyze learning reports to identify and advise on training required to meet the needs of our care homes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Care Home Managers, providing regular training updates and advice on Learning and Development requirements.
  • Ensure all training information is accurately logged on our system and kept up to date.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Learning and Development, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality training programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate employees at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and employee development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze learning reports and identify training needs.
  • Proficient in MS Office and able to use an information system to record learning.
  • Able to demonstrate awareness of regulatory requirements for Learning and Development in the healthcare sector.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
