Job Title: HGV Fitter/Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled HGV Fitter/Mechanic to join our team at Beauparc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring our fleet of HGV units is in top condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HGV units to ensure they meet the highest standards.
  • Diagnose and rectify vehicle and trailer faults in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare vehicles and trailers for MOT inspections.
  • Conduct 6 weekly inspections to identify and address any potential issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all company health and safety policies.
  • Work independently or as part of a team on larger jobs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in HGV maintenance and repair.
  • Class 1 license preferable but not essential.
  • Welding experience preferable but not essential.
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate up to £17.50 DOE.
  • Basic 40 hours per week with O/T paid at 1.5 x basic rate.
  • On call rota basis.
  • 30 minutes unpaid lunch break.
  • Alternate Saturdays in addition to weekly hours.
  • Continual training and development opportunities.
