Principal Electronics Engineer Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Electronics Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electronics for instrumentation and acoustics applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and provide technical standards and guidance in all software design and development
  2. Provide design reviews and give technical recommendations
  3. Participate in risk assessments and mitigating activities
  4. Guide staff to ensure project assignments are completed on time and within budget
  5. Provide technical support to Sales and Manufacturing departments
  6. Mentor and develop engineering team
  7. Provide support to Director of Engineering and coordinate Electronics Engineering projects and tasks

Required Skills:

  1. OrCAD design software or experience with similar tools
  2. Experience/knowledge of microcontroller-based circuit design and embedded software essential
  3. Experience/knowledge of FPGA-based circuit design
  4. Produced design documentation and test specifications
  5. Work independently and/or as part of a team
  6. IPC trained (training can be provided)
  7. Mixed signal design including pre-amplifiers, filters, power supplies, interfacing, and analogue-digital conversion for precision instrumentation applications
