Housing Solutions Specialist

Are you passionate about providing excellent customer service and making a positive impact on people's lives? Do you have a strong understanding of housing legislation and a keen eye for detail?
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Housing Options Officer to join our Housing Solutions Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for interviewing and assessing households who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, identifying preventions and ensuring we are fully compliant with the Homeless Reduction Act 2017.
You will work closely with external partners, agencies and other internal sections to improve outcomes for individuals and families. Good interpersonal skills, empathy and sound judgement are essential in this role. You will need to be organized, self-motivated and a good team player.
Due to the post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, candidates will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check. The possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and information provided.
