Who are we seeking?
- You are an NCTJ accredited journalist, preferably with shorthand proficiency at 100wpm (or actively pursuing this skill), with a keen interest in local affairs.
- Experience in covering local governmental activities is advantageous.
- You possess the knack for extracting compelling narratives from council discussions that resonate with the public.
- A solid understanding of social media and its potential to enhance audience engagement in your locality is beneficial.
- You are passionate about local governance, committed to holding officials accountable, and dedicated to amplifying community voices.
