Warehouse Operative Position

We are excited to present an excellent opportunity for a leading importer and distributor of fresh produce, seeking a Warehouse Operative. This role is vital to the efficiency of our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Picking orders and performing manual handling tasks
  • Coordinating transport collections
  • Completing administrative tasks related to outloading
  • Utilizing Prophet software and TIMS website for operations
  • Charging warehouse vehicles for the following day
  • Securing warehouse facilities on a daily basis
  • Assisting with loading and unloading of trucks
  • Managing recycling initiatives and maintaining cleanliness
  • Operating the cardboard compactor
  • Providing support to the Pack House
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and reporting equipment failures
  • Assisting with day shift operations
  • Carrying out additional warehouse duties as necessary
Required Experience/Qualifications:
  • Valid forklift certification
  • Experience operating ride-on powered pallet trucks
  • Skills in scan picking, receiving, and load building
  • Familiarity with live stock management systems
  • Strong numerical skills and physical fitness
Work Schedule:

This position involves 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule of 4 days on and 4 days off. Flexibility may be required based on operational demands. Candidates must have their own transportation due to the warehouse's location.
