Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Builder to join our Estates team at Malborough College. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the maintenance and improvement of our college premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Team Leader in planning and executing building maintenance and repair work
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to health and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and prioritize maintenance tasks
  • Operate and maintain a range of building equipment and tools
  • Contribute to the preparation and review of Estates Health and Safety risk assessments

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in general building work, groundwork, and maintenance
  • Ability to work at height and in enclosed spaces
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety protocols and procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
