We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Home Dual Registered Manager to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of two children's residential homes in the Romford area of Essex.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and managerial skills, with experience leading within a residential home for children and young people with Emotional Behavioural Disorders (EBD). You will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of the children and young people within your care, as well as managing staff teams and ensuring the services meet Ofsted standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hold Ofsted registrations
- Manage staff teams within services
- Ensure staff and young people are supported at all times
- Ensure services offer therapeutic care and support
- Ensure services are safe and efficient
- Manage staffing and recruitment
- Ensure services meet Ofsted standards
Requirements:
- NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children's Services)
- NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Services
- Experience working within a Deputy or Registered Manager's position
- Experience in a residential children's home environment
