Job Title: Breast Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Breast Care Nurse to join our team at North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work within our multidisciplinary team, providing specialist breast care services, advice, guidance, and treatment to patients. You will act as a resource to facilitate and coordinate the holistic care and treatment of patients referred to the breast service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide physical and psychological care to patients and carers from diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation.
  • Act as an information resource to patients, carers, and other health professionals.
  • Care for patients with benign breast disease, those referred with family history of breast cancer, or who are at high risk of developing breast cancer.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team of nurses, surgeons, radiologists, radiographers, oncologists, and pathologists.
