We are on the lookout for a skilled PHP Developer to become a vital member of our dynamic team at Tebex, working remotely.

In this exciting role, you will be instrumental in the User-Generated Content (UGC) landscape, where your contributions will significantly influence the gaming community, empowering creators to realize their ideas. This position is remote-first and is exclusively available to residents of the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

As a PHP Developer, your duties will include:

  • Crafting robust PHP code to develop new features of varying complexities.
  • Diagnosing and resolving intricate bugs while maintaining and refactoring existing codebases.
  • Providing support for technical inquiries.
  • Sharing your unique insights and expertise with the development team through code reviews and technical discussions.
  • Implementing security and performance best practices in all code produced.
  • Enhancing user experience by offering thoughtful suggestions and improvements to projects.
  • Creating powerful PHP solutions in the Tebex development environment.
Qualifications:
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with PHP and Laravel, demonstrating a deep understanding of various development methodologies and design patterns.
  • Proficiency in automated testing frameworks (PHPUnit, feature tests, etc.).
  • High standards and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Open to feedback and new ideas, with a collaborative approach.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to think critically and creatively to address challenges.
  • Exceptional development skills; experience in unique technical challenges is a notable advantage.
