We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Senior Laravel PHP Engineer to enhance our development capabilities at Purple Dot Digital Limited.

As a Senior Laravel PHP Engineer, your primary focus will be on creating, maintaining, and improving web applications utilizing the Laravel framework.


Key Responsibilities:

Application Development and Maintenance:
Craft, develop, and sustain high-performing, scalable, and secure web applications leveraging the Laravel framework.

Performance Optimization:
Enhance application performance for optimal speed, scalability, and security.

Database Design and Management:
Architect and oversee databases, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.

Quality Assurance:
Execute comprehensive testing of applications to identify and rectify bugs, ensuring software excellence.

API Development:
Create and manage RESTful APIs for both internal and external stakeholders.

Continuous Learning:
Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Laravel and PHP development.

Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 5 years in PHP development, with at least 2 years dedicated to the Laravel framework.

Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

Technical Proficiency:
In-depth knowledge of PHP, Laravel, MySQL, and RESTful APIs.

Front-End Familiarity:
Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or React is advantageous.

Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in troubleshooting complex issues.

Team Collaboration:
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team setting.

Detail Orientation:
Exceptional attention to detail and a dedication to delivering superior quality work.

Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
Previous experience with e-commerce platforms, CMS, or ERP systems.
