  • Sourcing Strategy and Planning
    • Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for direct and indirect commodities to meet business objectives.

  • Supplier Management
    • Evaluate, select, and manage suppliers to ensure the highest quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.

    • Develop contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies to maintain a resilient supply chain.
  • Compliance and Regulations
    • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to procurement and sourcing activities.
    • Stay informed about changes in regulations that may impact the sourcing and procurement process.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting
    • Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track supplier performance, cost savings, and other relevant metrics.
    • Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate performance and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
Requirements
  • Membership of an appropriate professional body would be advantageous.
  • Significant experience in a low to medium volume manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of working in and on Supply Chain & Quality Assurance.
  • Six Sigma / Lean skills.
  • Experience of dealing first hand with customers and suppliers.
  • Demonstrated experience of problem-solving techniques, best cost country sourcing, logistics, and internal freight.
  • Compliance with the Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies.
