Kohler Mira Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Staff Engineer - Current Product Development to join our team in Cheltenham. We are dedicated to designing award-winning products for market-leading brands, constantly striving to exceed customer expectations through innovation and cutting-edge technology.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in leading changes within our existing product portfolio. This includes evaluating and implementing design modifications based on warranty requirements, sustainability initiatives, supplier updates, or legislative changes.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Spearhead the implementation of design enhancements across our current product range, ensuring compliance with evolving industry standards and customer needs.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and prototyping to validate proposed design changes, minimizing risk and maximizing product performance.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to various departments, effectively addressing manufacturing challenges and collaborating with suppliers to ensure seamless production processes.
  • Collaborate closely with our customer service team to investigate field issues and product returns, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to identify recurring user issues and develop long-term solutions that enhance product reliability and user satisfaction.
  • Actively contribute to the development of new products by providing valuable feedback on design enhancements and collaborating with the engineering team.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives within our Current Product Development processes, driving efficiency and innovation.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities to enhance our product offerings and drive business growth.
Your Qualifications:
  • A qualified engineer with a strong mechanical background and a minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Proven experience in conducting Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and driving effective engineering solutions.
  • A self-motivated, results-oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A willingness to travel as required to support business needs.
