About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our dedicated team at Bromford. As a Grounds Maintenance Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining our communal green spaces and ensuring they are safe and vibrant for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain high-quality grounds and green spaces, including lawns, gardens, and other outdoor areas.
  • Operate a range of equipment, including brush cutters, pedestrian mowers, ride-on mowers, and hedge cutters.
  • Ensure accurate records are kept and best practices are shared to continuously improve our service.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to deliver excellent service to residents.
  • Hold a full, clean driving license and be comfortable with basic IT and mobile devices.
Requirements
  • Experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping.
  • Ideal qualifications include NPTC or Lantra certifications in brush cutter, pedestrian mower, ride-on mower, hedge cutter, and PA1 and PA6 for pesticide spraying.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety and COSHH requirements.
  • Punctual with excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
