About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our Industrial Refrigeration team at Johnson Controls International. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and fostering key relationships with our customers in the industrial refrigeration sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales Growth: Sell SABROE-branded industrial refrigeration compressors, chillers, and heat pumps to both new and existing customers.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with current accounts in the industry.
  • Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue new business development opportunities in the industrial refrigeration and heating markets.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work with colleagues to promote our products and solutions in industrial cooling and heating applications.
  • Engage with Customers and Colleagues: Build and nurture key relationships with customers, advisors, and colleagues across the UK and Ireland.
  • Visit Customers as Needed: Visit customers as needed, with up to 30% travel expected.
  • Manage Customer Requests Independently: Manage customer requests independently and prepare quotations that align with their needs.
  • Work with International Colleagues: Work with international colleagues with occasional travel to our SABROE production site in Aarhus, Denmark.
  • Monitor Market Trends: Monitor market trends, particularly in relation to the ongoing energy transition, and leverage these insights to drive sales.
  • Keep the Sales Manager Updated: Keep the sales manager updated on your progress and provide regular reports through our CRM tools.
  • Expand Your Professional Network: Expand your professional network by attending industry events and trade fairs, both domestically and internationally.
Requirements
  • Sales-Driven Achiever: A sales-driven achiever with a passion for winning and a proactive approach.
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in B2B product sales, preferably within the refrigeration sector.
  • Self-Motivated and Independent: A self-motivated, independent, and enterprising attitude.
  • Established Network: A well-established and active network in the industry.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial acumen and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to challenge conventional thinking constructively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in refrigeration or an engineering discipline.
  • Technical Insight: Technical insight and a strong affinity with the refrigeration industry.
