The Role
We are seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our team in providing care and assistance to children and young individuals with special needs due to their disabilities.
Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that children with disabilities deserve to be valued and empowered, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives and enjoy the same social experiences as their peers. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for these children through the delivery of exceptional services in collaboration with the children, their families, caregivers, and other professionals.
About You
As a candidate, you will be required to deliver practical, person-centered support, ensuring that the children receive a high standard of care while encouraging them to lead active and fulfilling lives.
A professional demeanor is essential. A comprehensive understanding of the needs of individuals with disabilities is crucial, along with experience in a person-centered approach, including the maintenance of support plans and relevant documentation. Flexibility in your work schedule is necessary, which may include morning, evening, weekend, sleep-in duties, night shifts, and holiday work. Strong written, communication, and basic IT skills are required.
After gaining the necessary experience within the home, you will be expected to take on shift leader responsibilities as needed.
The Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare, or an equivalent qualification, is a mandatory requirement.
