We are seeking a Psychology graduate or student to join our dedicated team at an Outstanding Primary school in Greenwich. This is a fantastic opportunity to complete your psychology placement or gain valuable experience in a school setting.
The ideal candidate will have strong academics, a passion for working with children with SEND/SEMH needs, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Previous experience working with non-verbal children and 1:1 support is highly desirable.
The role involves providing support to class teachers, assisting children with SEND/SEMH needs, and working closely with two children who are non-verbal. You will also be responsible for monitoring and recording interventions, and supporting pupils in and out of lessons.
This is a long-term, full-time position, working Monday to Friday, term time only. The daily rate is £105-£110.
The school is passionate about ensuring all students are catered to and supported, regardless of age and ability. They offer a supportive leadership team, opportunities to work alongside Counsellors, Therapists, and Psychologists, and a strong belief in helping children develop emotional resilience.
