Senior/Principal Operational Analyst Consultant/Defence Analyst

Join our team of experts at Gregory Martin International as we seek a highly skilled Senior/Principal Operational Analyst Consultant/Defence Analyst to support our clients in the UK MOD. About the Role

We are looking for individuals with a proven track record in delivering analysis programs and pioneering innovative approaches. As a Senior/Principal Operational Analyst Consultant/Defence Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering analysis programs and developing innovative approaches
  • Applying creative solutions to complex problems
  • Leading analysis efforts and guiding teams
  • Introducing innovative strategies and contributing to business development
  • Developing and maintaining robust customer and stakeholder relationships
Key Responsibilities

As a Senior/Principal Operational Analyst Consultant/Defence Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Operational Analysis to support business decision making, policy development, and/or research
  • Fostering robust customer and stakeholder relationships
  • Experience working with Defence Digital, DE&S, Dstl, Frontline Commands or UK Defence industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA)
  • Benefits analysis
  • Historical Analysis
  • Knowledge of statistics, data manipulation and analysis languages (VBA, SQL, R, Python)
  • Cost Effectiveness Analysis (CEA) and Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA)
  • Portfolio, programme, and project management (including schedule and risk analysis)
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education to degree level or equivalent relevant experience
  • Ability to travel to customer sites and work away from home or office for limited periods
