About the Role

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our Finance team at Cammax Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to our business leaders, ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, and driving business growth through financial analysis and insight.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Business Partner**: Collaborate with our Managing Director to develop and execute business strategy, providing financial analysis and insight to inform key business decisions.
  • **Financial Reporting**: Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial reports, including management accounts, P&L, and KPIs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • **Financial Planning**: Lead our quarterly forecast process, leveraging proprietary metrics to identify opportunities for operational excellence and drive business growth.
  • **Internal IT**: Manage the internal IT function, providing IT support to staff and ensuring the effective use of technology to drive business efficiency.
  • **Statutory Reporting**: Ensure compliance with UK legal requirements, including quarterly VAT returns, annual external audit, and corporation tax returns.
Requirements
  • **Accounting Experience**: Proven experience in accounting and controlling, with a strong understanding of accounting standards and IFRS.
  • **Leadership Skills**: Proven track record of leading teams through change management and implementing new processes and internal controls.
  • **Communication Skills**: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • **Analytical Skills**: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • **Technical Skills**: Proficient in financial software and systems, with experience in implementing new ERP systems.
