Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Manager to join our team. As an Asset Manager, you will be responsible for preparing void properties for disposal through different sales routes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting desktop analysis of properties to determine estimated value using comparable tools and available information.
  • Undertaking scoping and inspection of void assets to assess repair requirements and potential for refurbishment.
  • Preparing business plans, including summaries of required works, photographs of assets, and residual valuations to determine disposal routes.
  • Procuring and coordinating additional surveys, such as structural and damp assessments.
  • Working with Contract Managers and Administrators to review contractors' pricing and value engineer works schedules.
  • Attending site inspections and progress meetings to report on works completed.
  • Receiving handover of properties on completion of works, ensuring all documentation is accurate and filed.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of the residential property market.
  • Understanding of the refurbishment and repairs process and challenges.
  • Ability to formulate business cases supporting disposal routes that achieve the best value.
  • Good Excel skills.
  • Access to own car, as this role requires traveling to visit properties in all areas of operation.
