This role is pivotal in managing referrals for various health services, including urgent care and mental health support for children and young people. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the team's operational efficiency and communication.

Key Responsibilities

As an Access Services Administrator, your primary duties will include:

  • Engaging effectively with a diverse range of individuals, both in person and over the phone, while maintaining professionalism and courtesy.
  • Managing complex inquiries from clients, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate personnel or escalated when necessary.
  • Responding to service inquiries promptly and taking appropriate actions within established timeframes.
  • Maintaining an organized administrative system to support team operations.
  • Drafting correspondence on behalf of the service.
  • Producing accurate reports and documents from various sources.
  • Working independently while addressing urgent matters swiftly.
  • Prioritizing and managing your workload effectively.
  • Establishing and maintaining both electronic and manual filing systems.
  • Typing letters and inputting data into organizational systems.
  • Supporting the telephone rota to ensure efficient communication.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • NVQ Level 2-4 qualification in administration.
  • 1-2 years of relevant administrative experience.
