Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Cocktail Bartender to join our team in our beautiful resident cocktail bar, The Owl & Monkey. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our residents and members, creating memorable moments through drinks and personalised guest service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve expertly crafted cocktails, using a wide range of spirits and ingredients
  • Develop and maintain a deep knowledge of mixology and cocktail creations, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all residents and members
  • Work collaboratively with the hospitality team to deliver a seamless and memorable experience for our guests
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to high standards of hygiene and safety

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a restaurant or bar environment, with a strong background in mixology and cocktail creations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and residents
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and composed under pressure
  • Knowledge of spirits and classic cocktails, with a desire to learn and develop with us
  • Great command of English, both verbally and written
  • Passionate and hard-working attitude, with a desire to make The Other House team proud
  • Ability to retain information and follow The Other House values
  • Experience with a POS system and ability to work with technology
  • Approachable, professional attitude with an eye for attention to detail
  • Ability to be constantly vigilant for opportunities to upsell and increase revenue for The Other House
