Meeting and Events Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Meeting and Events Operations Supervisor to join our team at DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central. As a Meeting and Events Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the set-up and breakdown of large-scale conferences, dinners, and events, as well as supervising the set-up and breakdown of smaller meeting/conference rooms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the set-up and breakdown of large-scale conferences, dinners, and events
- Supervise the set-up and breakdown of smaller meeting/conference rooms
- Be a main point of contact for conference and events organizers
- Handle customer and client complaints and resolutions
- Take charge of running smaller-scale conferences, dinners, and events in the absence of senior meeting and events management
- Supervise team members in areas covering performance, personal presentation, and time keeping
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a hotel meeting and events department
- Previous experience in liaising with meeting and event organizers/clients
- Previous experience in the service of food while adhering to food safety/allergens laws
