About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Spinner Medical Recruitment as an Addiction Medicine Specialist in one of Australia's leading hospitals in Perth, Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead an addictions service in a dynamic and supportive environment.
  • Provide expert care to patients with addiction-related issues.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical policies and guidelines.
  • Participate in teaching and supervising medical staff.
Requirements
  • FRANZCP or equivalent specialist training gained in either NZ, UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, or South Africa.
  • Completed a 6-month training post in child and adolescent psychiatry if trained outside of Australia.
  • Experience in addictions psychiatry.
  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to lead and support multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching and supervising medical staff.
