**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Fairmont St Andrews, a Five-Star luxury hotel and resort in Scotland. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Staff Canteen and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Plan and implement menus that meet the needs of our staff and guests
  • Oversee the daily operation of the canteen, ensuring efficient service and high-quality food
  • Provide guidance and training to junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Cook and prepare food to the highest standards, using fresh and locally sourced ingredients
  • Ensure all staff meals are prepared and served to the highest standard, meeting the expectations of our guests
  • Monitor food preparation and presentation, ensuring consistency and quality
  • During service periods, personally run the food counter and ensure that the presentation and quality of the food meet our established standards

**Requirements**

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort environment
  • Ability to maintain good employee relations and lead a team to achieve high standards
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
