Working hours: 4 on 4 off fixed days Monday - Sunday. Shift times are 8am - 8pm
Our client, HMRC, is currently seeking dedicated Administrative Support Officers to assist during a pivotal transition period as the UK establishes its external border as an independent nation.
In this role, you will collaborate with a team to perform various documentation tasks related to goods entering and exiting the United Kingdom. A self-motivated and adaptable approach is essential as you will be required to handle a diverse range of responsibilities during this significant time. Please note that this position is site-specific, and remote working options are not available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients
- Accurately collect information directly from clients
- Enter data into systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Address issues or inquiries, escalating to a supervisor when necessary
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent interpersonal abilities, with a flexible mindset and positive demeanor
- Commitment to the entire duration of the assignment
- Willingness to undergo a health assessment to ensure capability for the role
- Ability to work a continental shift pattern, including early, late, and night shifts
