Job Title: Deputy Headteacher

We are seeking a compassionate and inclusive leader to join our team at Polaris. As Deputy Headteacher with SENCO responsibility, you will play a key role in fostering a culture of trust and empathy within our school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of educators to deliver high-quality education and support to students with special educational needs.
  • Develop and implement inclusive education strategies to promote social-emotional learning and well-being.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SENCO initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in SENCO leadership and education.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Knowledge of SENCO policies and procedures, with the ability to apply them in a school setting.
